Terms of Use

1. Terms

By accessing this web site, you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions described below, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Ownership

This website is the property of Thinking in Music, Inc. and its contents are protected by US copyright and trademark law and other applicable laws. Arts for Critical Thinking® is a registered trademark of Thinking in Music, Inc. Because program materials and most correspondence are branded with the Arts for Critical Thinking or ACT name, many people may use these names interchangeably. This does not change ownership.

3. Web Site Use License

a. Permission is granted to print or download the available materials on the Thinking in Music, Inc. web site for noncommercial educational use only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

i. Modify, copy, reproduce, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute, republish, mirror, frame, download, transmit or create derivative works of the content, in whole or in part, by any means without permission from Thinking in Music, Inc.;

ii. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial) without the express written permission of Thinking in Music, Inc.;

iii. use the concepts and ideas presented in the ACTivites to develop another program or derivative work;

iv. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the Thinking in Music, Inc. web site; or

v. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials;

All design elements and attachments to this web site, including but not limited to appearance, content and graphics, are the property of Thinking in Music, Inc. and are protected by applicable copyright laws. c. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Thinking in Music, Inc. at any time. 4. Book Use License
